Ph.D success

Doctorate awarded unchallenged! Excellent news, both personally and professionally. This project validates the use of largely qualitative methods for the verification of gesture dynamism and repeatability, amongst digital musicians with cerebral palsy.A debt of gratitude is owed to the project participants Tim, Philip and Marylouise.

Georgia Tech Margaret Guthman Prize

inGrid has been awarded a place as semi-finalist in Georgia Institute of Technology's Margaret Guthman Musical Instrument Prize 2014. I can't wait to see who else has been invited; good company indeed, given the roster of previous winners and panelists, such as David Wessel, Marco Donnarumma and Atau Tanaka.

inGrid PR

inGrid was recently shortlisted for the Ars Electronica Prix 2013:

Ars Electronica

and bouyed by this glimmer of recognition I have also submitted to the Georgia Tech Guthman 2014 Prize.

Georgia Tech

As inGrid represents a very very early prototype, I'm not expecting success, but if you're not in you can't win!
